Business Development Manager

We have some new roles here at Talis Education as we continue to grow the business.

Our culture is a challenging one – every one of us is responsible for the role we do. However, we are also relaxed, fun and dynamic and are interested in talking to people who are happy to own what they do, feel passionately about the market place in which they work and want to deliver high quality solutions to a growing and appreciative customer base.

Business Development Manager

As we continue to expand our operation we are now looking for an experienced individual to drive new business within a new UK sales territory. We seek an individual to research, identify, profile and target new customers in our home market as we move to drive further adoptions for Talis Aspire across our core higher education market.

You will be at the forefront of driving the continued success of the business in this face to face role and work closely with the Head of Commercial Development and existing Business Development Manager to build on what we have established over the last couple of years as we strive for the next phase of our growth.

Essential

• Considerable experience within sale roles focussing on UK educational markets
• Able to demonstrate sustained new business success
• A mature approach to account management
• Familiar and comfortable with the consultative sales approach working with a variety of stakeholders within UK higher education
• Used to working independently and flexibly
• Used to remote working and the communication challenges that arise from this

Desirable

• Used to working with a range of stakeholders in UK higher education including Senior Library Management, Learning Technologists, Senior Academics and IT functions
• Demonstrable success at selling enterprise software products

If you have what it takes and want to know more, please get in touch via info@talisaspire.com.
